The National Women’s Enterprise Day aims to inspire, motivate and support women across the country in running their own business.

The County & City Enterprise Boards are organising the National Women’s Enterprise Day that will take place on Friday 19th November 2010 in Limerick.

The day consists of a variety of developmental support actions, including inspiring speakers, information provision, exhibition of state supports for enterprise, facilitated business networking and one to one business mentoring.

The benefit for the entrepreneurs attending is that they can access everything they need to know about setting up a business or expanding a business in one day under one roof. There are opportunities to get one-to-one business advise from the exhibitors and mentors. They will come away from the day inspired, informed and motivated to fully exploit their potential as entrepreneurs.

This event, hosted by the County & City Enterprise Boards, is funded under the National Development Plan (NDP) Gender Equality Section in the Department of Justice, Equality and Law Reform “Services to promote Women in Business / Entrepreneurship”. Partner agencies in the event are the Department of Justice Equality & Law Reform, Gender Equality Section (prime sponsor) and Enterprise Ireland.
